VALUES AND ATTITUDES OF STUDENTS IN THE CONDITIONS OF TRANSFORMATION OF HIGHER EDUCATION IN RUSSIA

Finko M. V.                                                         DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2024-5-9-23

Abstract.

The article deals with the problem related to the definition of narratives and formation of principles of the sovereign domestic system of higher education in Russia. The relevance of the chosen topic, on the one hand, is determined by the scale of external and internal global challenges, on the other hand, by the need to preserve the basic constants of the Russian education, traditionally preserving its semantic and value core. It is substantiated that the main institution of upbringing and socialization of personality in modern society is education, and the socio-cultural educational space is a medium and at the same time a powerful resource for preserving and transmitting the historically developed system of ideals, guidelines and values to subsequent generations.

In this regard, it is important to consider the peculiarities of formation of value orientations and attitudes of modern university students in the conditions of changing approaches to the organization of the educational process, actualization of models and formats of education, implementation of individual educational trajectories in the educational process. The article focuses on the analysis of the dynamics of the state and evaluation of students’ education, as well as the organization of the educational process and the implementation of the principles of embedding and introduction of new learning formats. The central place in the content of the article is occupied by the analysis of research related to the identification of value orientations and attitudes in various spheres of realization of tasks of the modern system of higher education in Russia, including transformation processes and social integration of young people in the activities of the university in accordance with the new realities..

JACK BARBALET ON THE CONNECTION BETWEEN EMOTIONS AND INTERPERSONAL TRUST

Ganin A. V.                                             DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2024-5-24-35

Abstract.

The article analyzes the theory of emotions by the Australian sociologist and philosopher Jack Barbalet. His name is already known to the domestic reader from the works of V. G. Nikolaev, A. A. Semenchuk, O. A. Simonova and N. V. Romanovsky. However, an attempt to analyze J. Barbalet’s views on the role of emotions in the formation of interpersonal trust is being undertaken in Russian science for the first time. In this article, based on general scientific methods, the analysis of the most significant works of Barbalet’s, both in the early 1990s and recent years, is carried out. The author of the article identifies three variants of “negative” emotions in Barbalet’s theory which serve as the basis for the formation of interpersonal trust. This is how the emotions of anger, fear and boredom were examined. It has been shown that anger is based on a violation of the principles of trust, social justice and basic human rights. The reason for the appearance of anger in this case is a violation of status-role prescriptions, and anger itself is considered as “moral”. At the same time, the author of the article draws attention to how, according to Barbalet, anger is directed at the person who experiences the emotion themselves and is of the self-accusatory nature. At the same time, the author of the article identifies shortcomings and understatements in Barbalet’s theory, pointing out how little attention is paid to gender and socio-cultural aspects. An important section of the article is the author’s analysis of the influence of the fear of “losing face” on the formation of interpersonal trust, based on Barbalet’s work on the Chinese tradition of “Guangxi”. Separately, the article analyzes the influence of boredom on the formation of trust, which can be used not only in the field of theoretical, but also applied knowledge, for example, in the field of management. In general, the article shows that Jack Barbalet’s social philosophy is of scientific interest in the light of the modern “turn to emotions” in the humanities and social sciences.

FEATURES OF CHARACTER ACCENTUATIONS, COPING STRATEGIES AND ANXIETY IN THE FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS OF DIFFERENT AREAS OF VOCATIONAL TRAINING

Kononova O. B.                                                   DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2024-5-36-47

Abstract.

The article describes the study the purpose of which was to determine the accentuation of character, coping strategies and anxiety in the 1st year students of different areas of vocational training. The study involved first-year students of Emperor Alexander I St. Petersburg State Transport University in various fields of vocational training. The following methods were used: the K. Leonhard – N. Shmishek test questionnaire; the method “Overcoming difficult life situations” by V. Janke, G. Erdmann (adaptation by N. E. Vodopyanova) and the Spielberger-Khanin anxiety scale (STAI). Students of the direction of “Electricity supply”, significantly more than students of the direction of “Transportation process management”, revealed the accentuation of the character “Cyclothymic type”; these students are more prone to changing emotions, more often go to extremes, experiencing either great joy or a deep apathetic state under the influence of external circumstances. Students of the “Electricity Supply” direction have a large repertoire of effective coping strategies compared to the other group, which can contribute to a more successful adaptation to university studies. The analysis of correlations has shown the importance of personal anxiety in the personal profile of students in two areas of training. The situational anxiety is less significant for these groups, but, nevertheless, it manifests itself in connection with individual character accentuations. The hypotheses of the study were partially confirmed.

Keywords

DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2024-5-59-72

Abstract.

The most important factor in ensuring the national security of the Russian Federation is its scientific and technological development, in connection with which there is a need to assess the potential of the higher professional education system to provide industry with the necessary personnel. So we conducted a study in which we studied data on the number of applicants and the actual graduation of bachelors, specialists, masters over the past ten years in various areas of training (specialties): mathematics and information technology, physics and engineering, chemistry and materials science. The data analysis showed a rapid increase in the number of future mathematical and IT personnel with a clear decrease in output. The number of admitted physics and engineering personnel remains virtually unchanged, with a slight decrease in the number of graduates. Negative dynamics of admission and actual graduation since 2018 have been observed for chemical and materials science specialties.

A POSSIBLE VECTOR FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF ENGINEERING
AND ECONOMIC EDUCATION

Krotenko T. Yu.                                            DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2024-5-73-86

Abstract.

The need to adapt to rapidly developing scientific and technological progress determines the urgent use of innovative methods in the preparation and additional training of specialists for effective work in the real economy, mainly its leading representatives – engineers. In the context of the globalization of the international economy, the importance of quality education for new engineers is increasing. Domestic engineers will have to solve the problem of technological modernization of national industry and enter new markets with innovative products. Therefore, a closer study, penetration into the cultural traditions, philosophical and historical roots of modern engineering education is relevant. As a result, the need to create a new type of educational space becomes obvious. The article reinforces the idea of a new vector for the development of continuous engineering education. This strategy is based on the traditions and principles of transdisciplinarity and “feeds” engineering education with knowledge, skills, and abilities in the economic, socio-psychological, linguistic and information, and communication spheres.

IDEOLOGICAL FOUNDATIONS OF THE PURPOSE OF PATRIOTIC EDUCATION IN RUSSIA: DEFINITIVE ANALYSIS AND SCIENTIFIC AND PEDAGOGICAL APPROACHES

Fomenko E. A.                                                    DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2024-5-87-98

Abstract.

A holistic analysis of pedagogical, political and other dictionaries and works has been carried out in order to determine the system-forming terms and categories of the research topic. Thus, due to the study of the heritage of outstanding Russian thinkers of the past (N. A. Berdyaev, N. M. Karamzin) and the works of modern researchers (T. V. Bespalova, S. V. Kulikova, V. I. Lutovinov), the meaningful characteristics of “ideology”, “ideological foundations”, “Fatherland”, “patriotism”, “the goals of patriotic education”, etc. have been revealed. It is concluded that within the framework of scientific and pedagogical approaches, both the essence of patriotism and the purpose of patriotic education are conceptualized by Russian thinkers mainly in a single paradigm with the traditional spiritual and moral values of Russian society.

THE COMPETENCY-BASED APPROACH IN EDUCATIONAL POLICY: BETWEEN NATIONAL UNIQUENESS AND GLOBALISM, KNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCIES

DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2024-5-99-111

Abstract.

There are two main opinions regarding the educational policy of a particular country: commitment to national educational uniqueness or adherence to the globalist mainstream in education, with the emphasis being put either on knowledge or on competencies. The modern competency-based approach, in contrast to its original versions (as a reaction to which the initiatives to protect the country’s educational autonomy and the movement for “bringing knowledge back in” to the curriculum have emerged), moves away from the divergence of such alternatives leaning towards their controlled convergence. In this article, we have tried to show that, thanks to hybridity, the competency-based approach has the opportunity to reconcile the need to comply with globalist demands and trends in education and the desire to preserve national educational identity and specificity, as well as to expose the falsity of the knowledge/competency dichotomy and overcome it. This allows to integrate it not only into the European, but also into the Asian educational space and ultimately makes it suitable for Russian (Eurasian) realities.

PREREQUISITES FOR THE FORMATION OF A SYSTEM OF MENTORING HEIRS TO THE IMPERIAL THRONE IN RUSSIA IN THE FIRST HALF OF THE XVIII CENTURY

Biziaeva N. D.                                              DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2024-5-112-120

Abstract.

This study is a brief overview of the prerequisites for the formation of a system of mentoring heirs to the imperial throne in Russia in the first half of the XVIII century, which consisted of developing the qualities necessary for the future ruler of the state during the upbringing and education of the child of royalty. The research into the issue of mentoring heirs to the imperial throne is of significant interest for the history of pedagogy since the choice of a mentor for the heirs to the throne, their brothers and sisters always was a matter of national importance. Such a teacher not only educated the child, but also shaped their character, suppressing their shortcomings and focusing on their strengths. Mentors and educators of royal children played the role of a link between the august parents and court teachers.

REFORMERS WHO WERE NOT NOTICED... NIKOLAI ALEXANDROVICH ZHELVAKOV, 1893–1972, AND PAVEL NIKODIMOVICH GRUZDEV, 1889–1953

Ryzhov A. N.                                              DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2024-5-121-134

Abstract.

The material presented in the article is devoted to one of the little-studied aspects of the professional activity and scientific views of two famous scholars-educators – Nikolai Aleksandrovich Zhelvakov and Pavel Nikodimovich Gruzdev. This side can be considered the defense of their own scientific views and beliefs in the difficult conditions of the 1930-50s. being based on understanding the harmfulness of mixing science and politics and the need to use domestic scientific traditions. Professor Zhelvakov’s area of scientific interest was the history of national education, and Professor Gruzdev was interested in the methodology of educational science. To study this problem, the article used handwritten and published scientific works as well as archival materials from the Scientific Archive of the Russian Academy of Education. As the result of the review and analysis of the materials involved, not only the rather unexpected for that time desire of the scientists to rely on pre-revolutionary scientific ideas in the field of theory and history of pedagogy was shown, but also an attempt to return in their teaching and scientific activities, as well as works, to the traditions of pre-revolutionary pedagogy. The serious opposition of the scientific community to attempts to return to the pedagogical traditions of the past, presented in the article, deserves special consideration.

Abstract.

The article highlights the problem associated with professional burnout of socially oriented professions, including teachers. The negative factors contributing to this process are considered, as well as the positive sides that prevent professional and emotional burnout of these professional categories of people.

The conducted pedagogical research has shown that the same number of school teachers and university lecturers are subject to the professional burnout. Despite the fact that, as a rule, scientific and pedagogical workers who are passionate about their work at the university, the “paperwork” with writing various records and reports sometimes puts them in a stressful situation, since the time to engage in educational and scientific work is reduced significantly, which leads to the emergence of the “professional burnout” syndrome.

Abstract.

Currently, the issue of developing information and communication skills of a higher school teacher in the context of innovative changes in the educational environment is being updated. The essence of the phenomenon of information and communication skills of a university teacher is considered from various positions of the authors: as a set of skills that ensure the use of information and communication technologies in teaching activities in order to solve educational problems; as the ability to perceive information through a communicative act; as the ability to work with various types and sources of information in professional practice. Various grounds for classifying this type of skills of a higher school teacher are presented. The types of information and communication skills of a teacher are characterized depending on the types of activities, goals and actual tasks, including the transfer of experience, the implementation of professional and pedagogical activities, solving problems of self-education, self-development, advanced training and vocational retraining. The article presents the author’s classification of information and communication skills of a university teacher from the perspective of highlighting the current directions of digitalization of the educational environment. Abstract.

The factors promoting the growth of conceptual ambiguousness in Pedagogical Science are presented in the article. The ambiguous concepts interpretation and discrepancies in their definitions in the regulatory documents in Education are allocated among them. Three essential approaches to the definition of the content of the “teacher’s individual educational route” concept are submitted as the result of the academic literature analysis. It proves the absence of the common understanding of the essence of the concept under consideration. Moreover, the paper contains the results of the provided content analysis of the regulatory documents, approved during the last five years in the frame of the realization of the “Education” National project, when defining and characterizing the concept of the teacher’s individual educational route, which allowed to conclude the difference not only in the definitions, but also in essential characteristics of the concept. It is concluded that the problem of the content of the “teacher’s individual educational route” concept in the regulatory documents affects the approaches of organizing teachers’ research and methodology activity support in territorial subjects of the Russian Federation.

CRITERIA FOR ASSESSING THE ABILITY TO SYSTEMATIZE INFORMATION WHEN TEACHING LANGUAGE STUDENTS

DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2024-5-270-275

Abstract.

This work considers the term “systematization” in a practical way. The ability to systematize, being an important meta-objective result of learning, causes certain difficulties in matters of its development, since the indicator of learning effectiveness directly depends on the criteria established for the development of a particular skill. There is a certain gap in the scientific literature in determining the criteria for the level of formation of the ability to systematize information. Determining the level of development of the ability to systematize information by students of language programs also causes some difficulty. The scientific novelty of the research lies in the analysis and development of criteria for the formation of the ability to systematize information necessary both for the development of this skill and for assessing the level of development of this skill.

THE RELATIONAL PICTURE OF THE WORLD IN THE PHILOSOPHY OF PHYSICS

Knyazev V. N.                                                 DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2024-4-9-16

Abstract.

The formation of a relational picture of the world is a natural stage in the development of the philosophy of physics. Philosophical reflection on the current state of fundamental theoretical physics is quite diverse. The author proceeds from the fact that the relational picture of the world as a methodological construct is formed in modern physics on the basis of a generalization of the relational paradigm based on three independent fundamental principles: the principle of relational understanding of space-time, the action-at-a-distance principle and Mach’s principle. The epistemological role of these principles is extremely significant for revealing the dynamics of the development of physics outside the currently dominant field theoretical paradigm. The geometric paradigm also makes its contribution to the development of modern physics. The principles of the relational paradigm are complemented by a new mathematical apparatus of binary systems of complex relations. The author draws a conclusion about the heuristic value of the theory of binary geometrophysics itself, developed by Yu. S. Vladimirov, and its generalizations in the form of a relational picture of the world for a philosophical understanding of their role in the further development of fundamental theoretical physics.

DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2024-4-36-50

Abstract.

The relevance of the problem is due to the need to develop modern educational technologies based on the subject-environmental approach and implying the implementation of the two-way communication: the psychological characteristics of the subject of action and the conditions of the educational environment. The creation of specialized classes aims to facilitate the correlation of the individual characteristics of students and the proposed field of activity. Theoretical analysis shows that the success of schooling directly depends on the emotional and motivational component of educational activities. The purpose of the study was to study the specifics of the emotional and motivational state of students in specialized classes. The study involved 10th grade students in the following profiles: chemical and biological, physical and mathematical, historical and legal. Based on the results of the study, the following conclusions were drawn: the predominance of school anxiety is characteristic of students majoring in chemical-biological and physical-mathematical fields, which demonstrates the importance of the assessment by the teacher or peers; in case of non-compliance with the requirements of the social environment, anxiety is triggered in educational situations. For students majoring in physics and mathematics, emotional experiences arise in situations of communicative interaction with adults and peers; it is more difficult for them to build communication. For students of chemical-biological and physical-mathematical profiles, it is common to experience tension in a situation of inability to meet their own expectations and the expectations of others; for history students, the actualization of the cognitive motive leads to greater anxiety about the discrepancy with their own expectations and the expectations of others. For schoolchildren with chemical-biological and physical-mathematical profiles, the severity of external motives is interconnected with their self-esteem and interpersonal anxiety. A high level of achievement will lead to greater anxiety about failure of meeting expectations.

GROUPS OF SOURCES ON THE STUDY OF THE PROBLEM OF ACCESSIBILITY OF EDUCATION IN RUSSIA AT THE BEGINNING OF THE XX CENTURY

Kilyachina A. I.                                          DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2024-4-92-99

Abstract.

The issue of accessibility of education in Russia in the pre-revolutionary years remains one of the most difficult and controversial in the works of researchers of the history of Russian education. This is primarily due to the insufficient breadth of the materials involved for a serious analysis of this problem and the lack of their in-depth analysis. Meanwhile, without involving the maximum available number of published sources in the study and carefully comparing them with a wide list of archival materials, significant inaccuracies in the statistical information involved and its evaluation are allowed in many publications. The proposed article examines the main groups of sources necessary for a comprehensive analysis of the problem of accessibility of education in Russia at the beginning of the XX century. Attention is also drawn to the special importance of not only the measures taken by the government in the field of education, but of the study of the demand for these measures by representatives of various groups of the population as well. Consideration and analysis of these two aspects of the problem of accessibility of Russian education at the beginning of the XX century on the basis of a comprehensive study of various groups of published and archival materials will allow us to obtain very important results for historical and pedagogical science.

Vassilchenko N. V.                                 DOI10.31862/2218-8711-2024-4-182-195

Abstract.

The article focuses on the condition of advanced learning at high school that has been in deep contradiction with the recently upgraded vectors of economic development, social, state as well as labour market needs. The juxtaposition of shares of schools that have established advanced learning of the four specialisations, except for the universal one, which has spread throughout over a half of all schools, with the indices of priority industries definitely proves engineering staff shortage at present and in the nearest future. The least widespread along with being the most demanded specialisation is the technological one for it initiates the preparation of future engineers for the strategically vital industries.

As one of the possible solutions to the issue the algorithm of the establishment of advanced learning of technological specialisation is suggested. Along with addressing the realities of the contemporary condition of the Russian general education and the difficulties of the establishment of advanced learning, the algorithm highlights and interprets the possibilities that the state and society provide for the creation of technological potential of the country.

STUDYING PARAMETRIC OPTIMIZATION PROBLEMS IN SECONDARY SCHOOL BASED ON A SYSTEM APPROACH

Nasonova E. D.                                        DOI10.31862/2218-8711-2024-4-228-238

Abstract.

The article deals with the issues of developing skills in solving optimization problems containing a parameter in primary and secondary schools. Models of this type belong to the class of optimization problems studied within the “Mathematics and Computer Science” discipline. They can also be considered parametric tasks which are reਞected in the testing and measuring materials of the unified state exam in specialized mathematics. The article analyzes general approaches to the study of optimization problems and problems with a parameter, implemented in mathematics and computer science lessons in primary and secondary schools, and considers a separate type of school parametric optimization problems solved by elementary methods. The author emphasizes the lack of a holistic approach to the study of optimization models in the 饀eld of “Mathematics and Computer Science”, since the content of these disciplines includes only individual topics, such as searching for the extremum of a function of one variable, modeling and formalization, and other sections that are not connected by the general logic of presentation. To implement a systematic approach to the study of optimization problems, including optimization problems with a parameter, it is proposed to develop an interdisciplinary elective course in mathematics and computer science within which methods of mathematics and computer science applied to solving optimization problems of various types can be studied.

Kubantseva D. I.                                               DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2024-3-239-251

Abstract.

The article discusses the features of clip thinking of modern generations (digital natives) as subjects of the educational process, highlighting its positive and negative features. An analysis of materials published from 2019 to 2023 presented in the scientific bibliographic databases, namely, eLibrary, ScienceDirect, and SpringerLink, tackling the problem of educating students with clip thinking has been done.

Various educating methods and technologies that help reduce the influence of negative aspects of clip thinking and develop the ability to analyze, memorize, and comprehend information, as well as understand cause-and-effect relationships, which can be successfully used in teaching various disciplines have been analyzed.

It is shown that at present there is a reliable evidence base on increasing the effectiveness of educating digital natives through specially designed computer games, the formative analytics method (organization of training on a digital platform by independently constructing an individual educational trajectory for students and its adjustment during the learning process in accordance with the recommendations of the teacher), blended learning approach – face-to-face and online, including flipped classrooms, and teach-back, also with the use of artificial intelligence systems and robots.

ONTOLOGICAL IRRATIONAL IN EARLY EASTERN PATRISTICS

Lyapustin A. G.                                          DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2024-3-9-19

Abstract.

This article focuses on the emergence and development of the ontological irrational in early Eastern patristics, starting with the philosophy of Philo of Alexandria and ending with the theology of the great Cappadocians. The concept under study was realized in the understanding of God who was incomprehensible. The main emphasis is placed on the fact that His unknowability is connected not with the weakness of man’s rational abilities, but with the very nature of the Creator, which is hidden from us. Thus, a fundamentally new philosophical tradition was formed, which replaced the ancient ontological rational with the ontological irrational.

REFLECTIVE PHILOSOPHY AS A WAY OF SELF-IDENTIFICATION:
R. DESCARTES – P. RICOEUR

Ivanova A. I., Arepyev E. I.                          DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2024-3-20-27

Abstract.

The fundamental thesis «Ego cogito, ergo sum» by R. Descartes influenced the formation of the direction in philosophy, called reflective. Many researchers build their conclusions on the basis of the starting point – the assertion that a person is a thinking thing. The article examines the influence of the mentioned thesis by R. Descartes on the problem of human self-identification in the work by P. Ricoeur. The relevance of this approach in line with the modern philosophical anthropology, in the light of its interdisciplinary significance, is argued on the example of the ideas of P. Ricoeur’s. R. Descartes’ way of thinking is interpreted as a certain source which continues in the reflective philosophy of I. Kant, I. Fichte, E. Husserl and others. The study also deals with the problem of defining reflective philosophy, the examples reveal the essence of the reflective method of studying philosophical issues. In addition, the article proposes a discussion of how the Cartesian understanding of the thinking subject changes in the course of the evolution of philosophical knowledge – in the concepts of the listed thinkers. The fundamental difference between the understanding of Cogito by P. Ricoeur and the perception of a given thesis within the framework of classical philosophy is revealed, which consists in the interdisciplinary fullness necessary for the multidimensional coverage of the process of the personality formation. It is revealed that the transition from the state of the subject to the state of the individual, in line with Ricoeur’s philosophy, is carried out through the hermeneutic perception of the surrounding reality and other individuals. A person, according to Ricoeur’s concept, is not only a thinking thing, but the main distinguishing feature is also responsibility which follows the ability to perform an action. Thus, there is a transition from a thinking person to an able person, to a capable person.

Lipskaya V.                                            DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2024-3-53-62

Abstract.

The article reveals the content of the moral ideal of the individual in the pedagogical thought of Belarus at the end of the 18th – beginning of the 20th centuries. It was revealed that the essential content of the moral ideal of the individual was determined by the understanding of the enlighteners of Belarus of the social essence of man, criticism of existing feudal-serf relations, the dominance of the ideas of collectivism on the Belarusian lands, the spread of humanistic and democratic ideas in society. It is noted that the enlighteners of Belarus attached special importance to the idea of filling the moral ideal with the traits of a real citizen and patriot, directing all their efforts to achieve the common good. It has been determined that under the influence of sociocultural factors in the pedagogical thought of the period under review, the moral ideal of an educated, virtuous citizen, patriot, a hardworking person useful to society, a humanistically oriented person was established.

Abstract.

It is necessary to strengthen the standard of requirements that determine the educational, cognitive and scientific level of preparedness of those who obtain the degree of MA in Education. This article proposes a set of methodological measurements that eliminate this drawback in the methodology of training postgraduate students. Many final qualification works (master theses) comprise a pedagogical experiment in an educational institution, demonstrating their skill and the specifics of methodological actions. However, at the vivo voce defense, we do not check whether they have knowledge of the achievements of the Russian school, including paradigms, methods and artistic techniques. The source of prolongation or variable bifurcation in the experiment often sounds indistinct. Sometimes, there is no selection of scientific terms that define the labyrinth of pedagogical innovation. In our opinion, for this reason, the practice of evaluating final qualification works is not being formalized objectively.

DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2024-3-184-193

Abstract.

In modern society, there is a constant acceleration of social processes, which entails the uncertainty and unpredictability. This situation requires the abandonment of standard algorithms and usual actions in favor of using non-standard approaches to solve the assigned problems. In light of these changes, pedagogical science and educational practice pay special attention to preparing the younger generation for the complexities and challenges of modern society through developing creative experience in students already at the initial stage of general education.

The purpose of this study is to identify the level of formation of the procedural criterion of the experience of creative activity of junior schoolchildren. It has been established that the core indicators of the element being studied are the ability to search for information, establish cause-and-effect relationships, and use existing knowledge in conditions of transformation; the ability to see various options for getting out of the current situation, find the most effective way to solve emerging problems independently.

The “Diagnostics of Creative Thinking” method by J. Guilford and P. Torrance, modernized by E. E. Tunik and improved by R. V. Ovcharova, is defined as a diagnostic tool that determines the dynamics of the formation of the phenomenon under study.

Based on the results of an experiment conducted on the basis of educational institutions of the Republic of Mordovia («Gymnasium No. 23» and «Gymnasium No. 20»), three groups of respondents were identified with high, medium and low levels of development of the procedural criterion for the experience of creative activity of junior schoolchildren.

Abstract.

The present study explores effectiveness of the of developmental coaching intervention for students in distance education. Digital transformation and economic necessity made distance education mainstream, forcing educational providers at all levels to adapt to a remote learning mode. Distance learning by its nature is more stressful for students. In the environment of limited face to face interaction between student and lecturer, coaching aid may provide invaluable and much needed support to students in distance education. Using qualitative and quantitative methodology, the study confirms a high level of students’ anxiety and its negative effect on students’ motivation. The study results proved the necessity for additional support mechanisms for students in distance education with the developmental coaching being one of them, which may provide new opportunities for the students’ personal and professional development. The coaching is found to have a substantial impact on developing soft skills and dealing with adaptive challenges. The greatest coaching effect was reported by participants on the level of motivation and self-acceptance. In the context of  active technological innovations and tendency for the education personification, integration of coaching into the educational process can better facilitate the academic process which is oriented towards combining the progress when mastering the academic knowledge with the steady personal growth.

Abstract.

The article presents a brief historical insight on the development of video analysis. A variety of directions in the development of this problem are presented due to the need for people of various professions to analyze and improve the technique of moving in space. The emphasis is placed on the fact that the advent of new means of recording the movement process has radically changed the capabilities of researchers. This process allowed one not only to analyze it in detail, but also to improve it, to build a sequence of movements more correctly, to exclude those that could lead to injury to performers or athletes. In addition, new technologies make it possible to introduce video analysis into the learning process, make it more interesting, and set students new exciting tasks the solution of which can be done in different ways. The use of such tools in teaching physics makes experimental tasks attractive to schoolchildren, and their implementation requires a deeper understanding of physical laws. POWER LINES OF THE FORMAT AS A METHOD OF TEACHING COMPOSITION

Makarova K. V., Zhukov D. A.                    DOI10.31862/2218-8711-2024-3-277-291

Abstract.

The issue of this study is the contradiction between the need to optimize the training of students of art and graphic faculties of pedagogical universities in the field of composition and the insufficient development of methods of teaching composition adapted for art and pedagogical education. The research methods used were the study of literature on a given topic, conversations with artists, teachers and art theorists, as well as the practice of teaching composition at the Institute of Fine Arts of Moscow Pedagogical State University for several years. In the course of the study, we studied the concept of «power lines of the format» from the point of view of the geometry of the picture and touched upon some philosophical aspects of this concept related to intuition and implicit knowledge, relying on the works by R. O. Jacobson and L. A. Mikeshina. The main functions of power lines as constructions underlying compositional schemes are indicated. On specific examples, such types of power lines as the square and the surplus element, the central axes, «thirds», «quarters» and «fifths» are considered. Special attention is paid to the concept of the «golden section» as one of the cornerstones of composition: its definition, method of construction, and role in the picture are given. The golden rectangle as well as increase and decrease of numbers in the golden proportion are considered altogether with the placement of the construction elements based on it. The Fibonacci spiral as a power line of the format, which is a special case of the application of the golden section rule, is drawn. The article also studies in detail the diagonals of the format and two different types of their classification associated with the names of such theorists as N. M. Tarabukin and A. A. Kovalev.

The result of the study was the development of a compositional exercise called «Power lines of the format», the method of its implementation, as well as its introduction into the practice of teaching composition at the Faculty of Art and Graphic Arts of Moscow Pedagogical State University.

CHILDREN’S BIBLE IN RUSSIA: MEANINGS AND INTERPRETATIONS

Mikhaylova L. B., Mikhailov A. N.                        DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2024-2-9-21

Abstract.

The article examines possible reasons that make it difficult for modern readers to be widely introduced to the Bible – a common cultural property important for all people, regardless of their attitude to religion. Among the main factors influencing the dynamics of reader interest to biblical texts, there is the semantic and interpretive inconsistency of children’s literature of the corresponding profile (“Children’s Bible”, “Bible for Children”, etc.) with the propaedeutic tasks assigned to them. The methods of lexical and artistic-graphic adaptation of the Bible for children and teenage perception are analyzed in the context of various sociocultural changes in the life of the Russian society.

V. S. SOLOVYOV’S PHILOSOPHY OF HISTORY: FUNDAMENTAL IDEAS AND PROBLEMS

Makaryev I. V.                                                    DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2024-2-22-32

Abstract.

This article raises the question of the fundamental problems and concepts of knowledge of history in the philosophy of the outstanding Russian thinker Vladimir Sergeevich Solovyov (1853–1900). Using the analysis of three works (“Philosophical principles of integral knowledge”, “Readings about God-manhood” and “Justification of good. Moral philosophy”), an analysis of Solovyov’s philosophy of history is given in connection with ontological, epistemological and cosmological problems, as well as with his ethical and political ideas. It is shown that history for the Russian thinker is a movement towards the absolute unity (all-unity) which specifically manifests itself in the expansion of religious consciousness, and its subject is a living organism in the development of which three moments can be distinguished: the primary state (an external unity of elements), the goal (an internal unity of elements) and the transition state (the separation of elements). The conclusion is drawn about the determining influence of V. S. Solovyov’ historiosophical concept on the subsequent development of religious philosophy of history in Russia.

STUDY OF THE LEVEL OF AGGRESSION AMONG FIRST-YEAR STUDENTS

Timokhina T. V., Goncharova E. V                   DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2024-2-54-65

Abstract.

The article presents the results of a theoretical and empirical study of the level of aggression among first-year students. The authors reviewed literature on the topic under consideration, conducted an empirical psychodiagnostic study with subsequent processing of the results obtained through the use of mathematical and statistical methods. Aspects of the course of various types of aggression are described, as well as possible vectors of its direction.

Due to the rapid development of social networks, changes in the lifestyle of the younger generation, the micro and macro society surrounding them, the political situation and other living conditions, the level of severity of aggressive reactions of a modern student differs significantly from the indicators of the same criteria among students who began their studies in 2012.

In the theoretical study, such methods as comparison, generalization, and classification were used. An empirical study of first-year students was carried out on the basis of the State Educational Institution of Higher Education in Moscow Region “State University of Humanities and Technology” (Orekhovo-Zuevo, Moscow Region) in 2012 and in 2022 and involved 72 and 112 first-year students of the Faculty of Primary Education correspondingly. As tools for this purpose, we used the “Bass-Darki Aggression Level Questionnaire” as well as the “Diagnostics of Self-Evaluation of Mental States” method (G. Eysenck). The results of the study indicate that the level of aggressive reactions of young people, except the “offense” indicator, decreased in 2022 compared to 2012.

It is concluded that it is necessary to organize special work to overcome aggression among first-year students.

Zaitsev A. V.                                                DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2024-2-92-104

Abstract.

The article actualizes the issues of the emergence of a new method of teaching at the lowest level of education in Russia at the beginning of the XIXth century, namely the Bell – Lancaster method of mutual learning, which at that time was considerably popular in European countries. The research aims to analyze, on the study of archival documents, the position and actions of S. S. Uvarov on the issue of sending students of the Main Pedagogical Institute from St. Petersburg to England to study on the spot the features of applying the method of mutual learning and to promote his own ideas for the development of education. The methodological basis of the research is the study of a specific historical and pedagogical phenomenon in the context of a biographical approach. The author substantiates the idea that the role of the trustee of St. Petersburg Educational District in the selection, methodological training of students, their accompaniment on a trip abroad was extremely high, and was also aimed not only at the successful acquisition of knowledge and skills by students, but also at promoting their own ideas for the development of education in the country. The documents prepared personally by S. S. Uvarov are highlighted and characterized, as well as the actions taken by him and aimed at changing the promoted decision on the introduction of the mutual learning method in the Russian Empire. The historical evidence accompanying the consideration of the idea of opening the Second category Main Pedagogical Institute as a special institution for teacher training is shown. The evidence is indicated and argued that S. S. Uvarov formulated a document that allowed accompanying students who went to study abroad.

APPROACHES TO TEACHING FOREIGN LANGUAGES IN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS IN CUBA

Shevchenko A. Ya.                                              DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2024-2-154-166

Abstract.

The relevance of the study is due, on the one hand, to the fact that foreign language education can be considered as a tool of intercultural communication, and, consequently, as a tool of forming a supranational educational space, which is relevant in relation to the Russian Federation and its friendly countries which include Cuba. In addition, the foreign language education as an academic discipline has a high educational potential, which allows us to consider it as a possible means of transmitting national and universal values.

In this study, the purpose of which is to identify approaches to foreign language education at each of the main periods of its development in educational institutions of Cuba, its main stages are also highlighted and considered in the context of the cultural and historical eras of premodern, modern and postmodern: genesis and development, remission, revival, which, in turn, is the theoretical significance of this study. The practical significance of the study lies in the fact that it can become the basis for constructing an education system that meets the needs of modern society, forming a single educational space in intercultural dialogue with the national systems of other states, with the Cuban one in particular.

The empirical basis for the study was the data from interviews conducted with graduates of Cuban universities and colleges of various years of study dating from the 1970s to the present, curricula and programs for teaching Russian and English in various educational institutions in Cuba.

The study shows changes in approaches to the foreign language education using the example of teaching the English and Russian languages in colleges and universities in Cuba, revealing its specifics at each of the identified stages. It also deals with the current state and problems of the foreign language education in Cuba, such as the use of the communicative method in the context of having no native-speaking teachers, the difficulties in using digital technologies in the learning process, problems of students’ motivation, as well as adaptation of educational and methodological material. A conclusion is also drawn about the main trends in the study of Russian and English in educational institutions in Cuba.

In the given article, the author views gaming as an effective method of teaching fine art and discusses the value of pictorial gaming and the opportunity of using gaming techniques in the art education.

Art teaching occupies a special position compared to other subjects, focusing on three aspects of art education: the uniqueness of the way of thinking, the richness of imagination and the practical aspect in drawing and painting. However, in many schools today, although teachers realize the importance of art education, they tend to follow the old model of teaching. Children are often taught to copy pictures from books and are graded on how well the drawings match the books, causing a large proportion of children to gradually lose interest in art. Being an extremely ancient, widespread and unique phenomenon, the term ‘gaming’ is explored by a vast range of disciplines. Games have always been a natural part of children’s life, and combining art learning with games not only helps students enjoy learning art in a relatively enjoyable and free learning environment, but also provides a platform for students with relatively weak art background to stimulate their enthusiasm for drawing and painting through entertaining game programmers.

ON THE CONTEMPORARY RUSSIAN SOCIETY, EDUCATION AND UPBRINGING (PHILOSOPHICAL ASPECT)

Levikova S. I.                                                    DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2024-1-11-20

Abstract.

The article notes that there are two main models of the society development: evolutionary and revolutionary. Within the framework of the evolutionary model, peculiar to China, preference is given to the natural course of the society development. Within the framework of the revolutionary model, peculiar to the development of Western society (Europe, the USA, etc.), changes occur in leaps and bounds through the actual destruction of what was previously developed. Russia, being geographically located between the West and the East, not only tends to the Western model of the society development, but also adopts a lot, sometimes not peculiar to it, from Western countries, which has found a vivid manifestation, including in the post-Soviet reform of Russian education and upbringing systems. However, back in the XIX century, the Russian philosopher Nikolai Yakovlevich Danilevsky warned about the dangers that lie in wait for a country that is not going its own way.

THE RELATIONSHIP OF TYPES OF AGGRESSION WITH THE MECHANISMS OF PSYCHOLOGICAL DEFENSE IN YOUNG MEN

Gladyshev Yu. V.                                                      DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2024-1-21-29

Abstract.

The article presents the results of a study of the correlation of psychological defense mechanisms with types of aggression in male 1st year students. The Bass – Darkey questionnaire helped to determine aggressiveness. The Plutchek – Kellerman – Conte Life Style Index (LSI) questionnaire was used to study psychological defenses. In the process of data processing, the statistical package “SSPS Statistics 20” was used. Each type of psychological defense was ranked into three groups (low, medium and high), and the relationship between ranks and types of aggression was analyzed with the use of the nonparametric Kraskel – Wallis criterion. The result of the study (the Mann – Whitney U-test) showed that the higher the level of a certain psychological defense, the higher the severity of a particular type of aggression.

FEATURES OF THE RELATIONSHIP OF EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE AND SOCIAL INTEREST IN VOLUNTEERS WITH DIFFERENT VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE

Ilyina O. I., Milarovell Casini.                    DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2024-1-30-46

Abstract.

The article presents the results of a study of the relationship between the social interest and emotional intelligence of volunteers, studying at FEFU, with different experience in volunteering. Considering the social interest and emotional intelligence as components of the motivational and operational readiness for volunteering, the authors come to the conclusion that the indicators of these components are determined by the quantitative and content characteristics of volunteer experience. The results of the empirical study show that not only volunteers differ from non-volunteers in the level of emotional intelligence, social interest and have a meaningful difference in the correlation profiles between these components, but it is also possible to single out subgroups within the volunteer group that will differ in the same indicators and have substantially different correlation profiles if these subgroups are singled out on the basis of experience in solving certain tasks and the number of projects.

DEVELOPING THE CONSCIENTIOUSNESS OF A SCIENTIST: COORDINATION OF THEORY AND PRACTICE WHEN EDUCATING HIGHLY QUALIFIED PERSONNEL

Biricheva E. V.                                                DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2024-1-87-100

Abstract.

Contemporary challenges tend to raise new questions about the researchers’ conscientiousness and about the ways of developing it in young scientists. In this regard, the article systematizes ethical aspects of scientific research and manifestations of the researchers’ conscientiousness; it also suggests effective methods for teaching postgraduate students aimed at developing a conscious, responsible approach to their professional activities. The article suggests to consider ethical dilemmas from different points of view: utilitarianism, aretology, deontology. Conscientiousness appears to be understood as an ability for “inner dialogue”, on the basis of which a person strives for the maximum harmonization of him-/herself and the world in the horizon of the possible. The choice of the best, therefore, seems not to have pre-made schemes, it involves “trying on” each-time-unique situation using critical and creative thinking. Thus, development of the conscientiousness of a scientist may be built on the material of experience, reflection and self-sustained solution of certain situations (from the history of science and modeled). Hence, it is advisable to use problem-based learning methods, game technologies and case studies, the methodological designs and examples of which are also briefly presented in this article.

Toma Zh. V.                                           DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2024-1-181-190

Abstract.

The relevance of the article is due to the key aspects of the vocational education of pre-service teachers based on the analysis of the characteristics of the transformation of the students’ personality during their studies at the university. Theoretical and methodological basis for assessing the ways of vocational education were the works in the fields of pedagogy, psychology, and sociology. The purpose of the article is due to clarifying the mechanisms of vocational education of students, which determine the ongoing changes in the personality of students from the level of “a student” to the level of “a teacher-to-be”. As a significant factor, the orientation of students as pre-service teachers to the student through the reflection of his/her personality is indicated. The way of vocational education of students is proposed, it develops in the triad: a student as a student → a student as a teacher-to-be → a pre-service teacher, reflecting via students. HOW TO WIN PEDAGOGICAL CONTESTS (FROM PERSONAL CREATIVITY TO THE COLLECTIVE PROFILE)

Abstract.

The article comprehends scientifically the tradition of holding educational skills competition which are a means of personal and professional development of employees of the education system. Assessing the speeches of the participants in the contests “Teacher of the Year”, “Educator-Mentor”, “First Steps in the Profession” and “I Give My Heart to Children” and the subsequent expert analysis made it possible to establish that the dynamics of points depends both on a narrow range of identical indicators included in various criteria in different contests, and on the formal adherence to the requirements of the regulations by educators. The first dependence is noticeable in the field of communication, presentation support, theoretical and methodological base of judgments of the contestants. The second dependence illustrates the panel’s desire to justify the points being awarded. It is found out that the increase in the effectiveness of educators’ participation in professional contests requires the emergence of a specialized collective in the educational institution. This group is understood as a creative association of contestants and representatives of the “support group” with the necessary skills and knowledge. At the same time, the possibility of self-realization of all participants in the desired types of labor is the key to the effectiveness of the collective. Also, the administration of the institution must support their work. The accumulation and comprehension of experience in accompanying and supporting the competitive activity of colleagues should bring new employees of the institution into the ranks of contestants. The creative nature of preparation for contests creates the prerequisites for art-pedagogic changes in the teacher’s day-to-day work.

Noskova T. N.                                                DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2024-1-205-218

Abstract.

The challenges of the digital economy, the digitalization of education cause immersion in the digital space of various types of activities. With the rapidly developing artificial intelligence tools, new requirements for the culture of mental labor, information and intellectual activity of a today’s specialist are being formed. It is justified that the achievement of a higher quality of information and intellectual activity requires interrelated changes in all components of students’ activities: both in setting goals and in the means of its implementation; under certain conditions this can lead to better results. A new goal in the digital interaction space is to create an intelligent design environment for the student to solve a problem in the context of using big data, a high degree of uncertainty, and the need to take into account many factors. The solution of the problem uses an expanded range of means of activity: digital technologies for working with information; the means of natural and artificial intelligence. Changes in the nature of mental actions in the new conditions of solving the problem, when using artificial intelligence tools, are revealed. The new qualitative results of solving complex multidimensional information problems in the digital space include, firstly, the adaptation of the subject to the new digital conditions of future professional activity, which requires significant changes in information and intellectual activity. Secondly, if a number of conditions are met, the information and intellectual activity of the subject can be carried out at a higher qualitative level due to the strengthening of natural intelligence by the capabilities of intelligent algorithms. Thirdly, with the manifestation of intellectual courage, and creativity, information and intellectual activity will allow the subject to find extraordinary solutions or carry out the setting of new tasks as the basis of start-ups that contribute to the effective professionalization of students.

A LINGUOCULTUROLOGICAL CHARACTERISTIC – TECHNOLOGY OF DECODING CULTURAL MEANINGS IN THE PROCESS OF LANGUAGE LEARNING

Levushkina O. N.                                DOI10.31862/2218-8711-2024-1-265-274

Abstract.

This article solves the problem of the implementation of the linguoculturological aspect in the process of a language teaching, namely, teaching how to decode the cultural meanings of the language. To do this, the author considers theoretical issues: she relies on the concepts of a linguistic persona and cultural meaning, analyzes and compares the functional levels of perception of meaning, formulated in psycholinguistics, and the levels of cultural consciousness, developed in linguocultural studies. To substantiate the practical solution of the indicated problem, the definitions of the concepts of a linguoculturological analysis and a linguoculturological characteristic are separated. The linguoculturological analysis is defined primarily as a tool of linguocultural studies, while the linguoculturological characteristic – as a tool of the methodological science, the use of the latter is aimed at forming the students’ linguistic persona. The stages of linguistic and cultural characteristics of the language are formulated, a universalized definition of this concept is given. The logic of the linguoculturological characteristic is correlated with the functional levels of perception of meaning (I. A. Zimnaya), with the levels of cultural consciousness (N. F. Alefirenko), as the result of which it is proved that the linguoculturological characteristic of a language is based on psychological, mental and speech mechanisms of consciousness and, in the process of a language learning, allows teaching the identification, comprehension, formulation and internalization of cultural meanings contained in the language.

INTERPRETATION OF JUDGMENT IN IMPROVING THINKING ABILITIES

Sukhanova N. P.                                                    DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2023-6-11-18

Abstract.

The modern educational landscape, which is undergoing changes due to socio-cultural reasons, contributes to the development of projects aimed at improving the quality of thinking. This research is addressed to the program settings of the university course “Logic and Critical Thinking”. The methodological substantiation of the formal-logical approach to the consideration of the phenomenon of critical thinking is shown. The results obtained in the course of teaching, effective in terms of building critical thinking skills of students, are explicated. The purpose of the article is to analyze the pedagogical experience of working with the course materials on problematic subjects when studying judgment and the relationship of judgment and information. Attention is focused on the evolution of the concept of “critical thinking” and, during its transformation, the preservation of essential features indicating the identification of the features of judgment and the conjugacy of judgment with the analysis of information data. The author reveals the project participants’ own achievements in terms of reflexive comprehension of the difficulties of interpreting a judgment, which makes it possible to fix their cognitive connection to the conceptual apparatus of the discipline. It is concluded that immersion in the subtleties of thinking about judgment is of fundamental importance in the progression of critical thinking abilities and skillful handling of information, and also significantly enriches the picture of students’ ideas about language and cognition.

THE INTERPRETATION OF THE SYNTHESIS OF LOVE AND SUFFERING IN RELIGIOUS PHILOSOPHY BY S. L. FRANK

Mochinskaya K. A.                                              DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2023-6-34-42

Abstract.

The article interprets the synthesis method which is used by the Russian philosopher S. L. Frank when constructing the system of metaphysics of all-unity. This synthesis is considered in relation to specific phenomena – love and suffering. The analysis of their relationship is carried out through the concept of “metalological unity”, that is – through all-unity, which expresses the philosophical system of the thinker as a whole. The concept by Frank reveals the antinomic character of the connection between love and su ffering. In the ontological meaning, their synthesis is represented in the establishment of the significance of each of the feelings, where love is interpreted as “unity” and suffering as “separation”. Such a contradiction is resolved in the ethical aspect, in which the volitional beginning of mental life makes it possible to overcome the experience, and thereby overcome any “separation” or “disintegration”. In essence, the synthesis of the studied phenomena is realized in relation of the “I–you” and is seen in the ability to have compassion.

ACTUALIZATION OF THE REFLEXIVE RESOURCE OF PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENTS WHO STUDY IN THE “PSYCHOLOGICAL AND PEDAGOGICAL EDUCATION” PROGRAM

Mitina L. M., Vostokova Yu. I.                        DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2023-6-64-79

Abstract.

The development of society requires the effective use of all human resources including professional ones. The solution to this problem involves the actualization of reflexive resources of personal and professional development of specialists and, first of all, this applies to the profession of a teacher-psychologist, on whom the well-being and development of the creative potential of students depend to a certain extent. The contradiction between the need to actualize the reflexive resource of a teacher-psychologist and the insufficiency of means and technologies for their formation and development determined the purpose of this study – to examine the features of professional self-awareness as a resource of personal and professional development of students – teachers-psychologists, to develop and test the technology of actualization of a reflexive resource in the process of their professional training. The results of the study showed that structured professional self-awareness is associated with the students’ personal and professional development. The implementation of the technology of updating the reflexive resource allows us to structure professional self-awareness and increase the level of personal and professional development of students who major in Education and Psychology.

Abstract.

Obtaining accessible and quality education is an important component of the state social policy, actualizing the consideration of individual needs of children, adolescents and youth and reflecting the need for individualization of educational trajectories, development of a tolerant receiving environment, barrier-free space and inclusion in all spheres of society. All this gives a new impetus for the development of the psychological and pedagogical science, the organization of interdisciplinary research, the implementation of an integrated approach to solving problems in order to ecological, full inclusion in education of citizens of different categories and groups. One of such special categories is children who undergo a long-term treatment in medical institutions and have life-threatening diagnoses. Providing them with the opportunity to master basic and supplementary education programmes is the most important condition for their intellectual and creative development, support for their psychological well-being and the possibility of harmonious socialization despite the difficult life situation caused by their illness. This process includes not only the opportunity to study in a hospital, but also modern psychological and pedagogical support for young patients. Thanks to the interdisciplinary approach to the education of children undergoing a long-term treatment, it is possible to integrate subject areas, combine forms of in-class and extracurricular activities, to select and test modern pedagogical and psychological technologies, as well as to provide comprehensive psychological assistance and support to the child and his/her family. DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2023-6-180-189

Abstract.

The article examines the organization of career guidance activities at the pre-university stage of education at the Northern State Medical University (NSMU). The purpose of the study is to analyze the experience of conducting a career guidance course “Fundamentals of medical biochemistry” for secondary school students of the 10th grade who major in natural science. One of the most important tasks of career guidance work at a medical university is to increase the cognitive interest of students in natural science and medical knowledge. To solve this problem, a set of methodological support has been developed which pays great attention to the organization of independent work of students in laboratory and practical classes and educational and research work during the training summer practice. The leading role is given to the formation of practical skills in the course of performing laboratory work using modern equipment, reagent kits and chemical dishes. The article presents examples of various tasks, such as filling out tables, solving test tasks and situational problems. Evaluation of the effectiveness of career guidance work was carried out based on the results of a survey of students at the end of the course. The feedback indicates their satisfaction with the career guidance program of the course, which allows arousing interest in the knowledge of the natural science profile, motivating students to make an independent, conscious and correct choice of their future profession.

Abstract.

The article considers the issue of personnel shortage in light industry. The development of the industry and the improvement of its competitiveness directly depends on the quality of training of future graduates majoring in educational programs that meet the current and future requirements of the labor market. The article aims at describing the key elements which influence the light industry personnel training as well as at identifying the role of the employer when updating the educational training programs. The key role in eliminating the personnel shortage of enterprises is played by educational organizations that train specialists of various levels in the light industry. At the same time, the author concludes that the development and implementation of educational programs for advanced training for light industry is impossible without the active involvement of the employer in the process of designing, developing, selecting material and technical resources and, precisely, implementing the educational program. The author gives the example of such a practice in the framework of the implementation of the federal project “Professionalitet” and the creation of an educational and production cluster of light industry. Taking into account the requirements of the labor market, the tasks for the successful development of the personnel potential of the industry and the training of specialists by educational organizations are formulated.

Abstract.

The relevance of studying the attitude of medical students to artificial intelligence technology (hereinafter referred to as AI) is determined by the introduction of the AI systems not only into the educational process, but also into clinical and diagnostic practice. The hypothesis about the existence of a connection between the practices of information behavior, reflecting the content of the information culture of the individual and preference in defining the AI, was confirmed. The aim is to characterize the relationship between the practices of using various sources of information as a key component of the information culture of medical students and their understanding of the AI. The results of a survey of first- and second-year students of Tyumen State Medical University (n = 615) are presented. The assumption about the high role of the Internet not only as a source of educational information, but also as a way to overcome difficult life situations was confirmed. The assumptions regarding the absence of difficulties in understanding the essence of the AI by those students who regularly consume specialized information were also confirmed. It was found that the practice of regular reading of the medical press and specialized articles in foreign languages is associated with a more equal distribution among the four variants of the AI understanding, while reading of only medical news is more correlated with a preference for evolutionary and biological understanding of the AI.

WAYS TO OVERCOME OBJECTIVE AND SUBJECTIVE DIFFICULTIES IN TEACHING SPECIAL VOCABULARY TO CHINESE STUDENTS IN DISTANCE EDUCATION

Su Qingxi.                                           DOI10.31862/2218-8711-2023-6-272-284

Abstract.

Today, cooperation between the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China in the field of sports and physical culture is intensively developing. Mastering the sports language is equally necessary for future translators, teachers of Russian as a foreign language, athletes, coaches and referees, doctors and specialists in the field of sports medicine, sports journalists, etc. We have identified some objective and subjective difficulties in teaching sports terminology to Chinese students in the context of distance learning, which, due to the complex and unpredictable international situation, has been chosen by many universities as an alternative training format. Expedient ways of overcoming these difficulties are proposed: basing on an increasing motivation to study and activating cognitive activity of students in the classes of Russian as a foreign language; taking into account the specifics of the national character and ethnopsychological characteristics of students; improving digital competencies of the scientific and pedagogical staff, ensuring continuous support of the educational portal of the university; developing self-control in Chinese students; compiling bilingual Russian-Chinese publications on the subject of “Sports” (for example, dictionaries and reference books of sports terms, textbooks on sports); using audiovisual learning tools to improve the memorization of sports terms, etc. The development of a lesson plan on the topic “Summer Olympic sports” with the distribution of time by type of activity for modeling the educational process in the conditions outside the Russian language environment is presented.

RATIONALISM IN EPISTEMOLOGY OF THE SEVENTEENTH CENTURY: EDWARD HERBERT CHERBURY

Sorokina T. B.                                                    DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2023-5-11-20

Abstract.

The article analyzes the theory of knowledge by Herbert Cherbury, an English philosopher of the early XVII century and the founder of English deism. The article aims to show the contribution of Herbert Cherbury to the development of the rationalist direction of classical epistemology. The analysis of "De Veritate" showed that Herbert used a systematic approach in constructing a theory of truth, and the systemic engagement of all the elements is one of the fundamental propositions of Herbert’s theory. Herbert defended the idea of the activity of the human mind and its boundless power, objective universal criteria in cognition that exclude subjectivism and relativism. The author notes those provisions of Herbert’s theory that went beyond the existing traditions in the European epistemology of that time.

IDENTITY AS A SPHERE OF THE SACRED IN THE CONTEXT OF GLOBALIZATION

Kislykh D. N., Yakovleva M. K.                     DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2023-5-21-28

Abstract.

The article examines the issue of identity from the standpoint of the Russian national culture against the background of the increasing processes of globalization. The author considers identity as a sphere of the sacred, rooted, ontological. This sphere is facing a severe crisis in the light of the clash of different aspects of the social being (global and local, sacred and secular). The sacred is implied in arranging the social reality, defining clear value, symbolic and semantic directions without which the society development is impossible. Globalization in its modern form is a threat to traditional spiritual values, norms, and patterns of the Russian cultural identity. Against the crisis of the national and cultural identity a question on the necessity of acquiring strict identification directions which have a level, socially developing and humane character is really acute.

PSYCHOLOGICAL WELL-BEING AS A RESOURCE OF THE TEACHER'S COPING BEHAVIOR IN THE PROCESS OF PROFESSIONALIZATION

Ledovskaya T. V.                                          DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2023-5-42-54

Abstract.

The article studies the psychological well-being of teachers as one of the predictors of coping with stress in the pedagogical activity. The categories that are factors of the teaching stress occurrence have been identified. The study aims to determine the role of the psychological well-being of teachers in their choice of strategies for coping behavior at different stages of professionalization. The methods used are: K. Riff’s scale of psychological well-being in L. V. Zhukovskaya and E. G. Troshikhina’s adaptation and the questionnaire of methods of coping by S. Folkman and R. Lazarus, adaptated by T. L. Kryukova, E. V. Kuftyak and M. S. Zamyshlyaeva. In general, throughout their vocational activities, teachers prefer the same coping strategies with stress (Planning a solution to a problem, Searching for social support, Taking responsibility), but the tension and intensity of coping are higher at the career start. The psychological well-being does not have dynamics in the process of professionalization, but there is a dynamic of its influence on the teacher’s effective way out of stress, that is it is a resource for the coping behavior for teachers. The results suggest a positive impact of the psychological well-being of educators on adequate emotional and cognitive coping strategies (self-control, problem-solving planning, positive reassessment).

EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE AS A RESOURCE OF PROFESSIONAL HEALTH OF A TEACHER

Shingaev S. M., Yurkova E. V.                        DOI: 10.31862/2218-8711-2023-5-55-69

Abstract.

Emotional intelligence is considered in the context of the ability model as a resource for the development of professional competence and the factor that determines the professional health of a teacher in particular. The professional health of a teacher is defined as an integrative property that allows one to cope with various situations of vocational activity. The study involved 60 secondary school teachers (women) of Saint Petersburg; aged averagely 43.5 and 21 years of seniority. It was assumed that emotional intelligence contributes to the preservation and maintenance of the professional health of the teacher. The psychodiagnostic tools included: D. Lusin’s questionnaire EmIn, V. V. Boyko’s method "Diagnostics of the empathy level", P. Ekman’s test, R. Lazarus’s questionnaire "Coping strategies". The results of the study show that the ability to manage their own emotional states allows a person to rationally approach the situation and objectively assess it. Understanding the emotions of communication partners helps the teacher to focus on a positive re-evaluation, rethinking difficult professional situations.

Abstract.

The article considers the phenomenon of imitation in the pedagogy of Orthodoxy. The analysis of the use of the concepts of "example", "image", "ideal image", "personal sample", "ideal", "pedagogical ideal" and "goal" in the Russian pedagogical science is carried out. It is proved that all of them are concepts of the same order and are aimed at organizing the spiritual transformative activity of a person. From the point of view of pedagogy and psychology, the concept of "imitation" is considered and the tradition of its use in the pedagogy of Orthodoxy is studied. Following a personal model as an ideal for imitation in Orthodoxy correlates with the method of example in the pedagogical science. Based on acmeological, culturological and axiological approaches, the essence of the example in the pedagogy of Orthodoxy is revealed. It is proved that the method of example traditionally plays a special role in the educational system of Orthodoxy. An example in this case is the saints glorified in this face by the Orthodox Church. A special role is played by descriptions of the life of saints as a means of upbringing and education.
