E. ILYENKOV’S PROBLEM OF IDEAL AND A NEW IMAGE OF CONSCIOUSNESS

Schastlivtsev Roman A.

Abstract.

The article presents a new interpretation of E. V. Ilyenkov’s concept of ideal. It is shown that Ilyenkov’s understanding of the ideal allows its interpretation in the spirit of modern medial concepts. In this regard, the ideal can be understood as culture in general. The evolutionary approach to this problem allows us to find the rudiments of the ideal in nature. A broad view on the problem of the ideal through the prism of mediality makes it possible to use the dialectic of the direct-indirect. The latter helps to present the ideal as a system of mediations of the material primarily in the human culture. Thus, the ideal appears as formulated, acquired a material form of activity, history and culture indefinite internal mental process, the beginning of which lies also in the activity, history, culture. Action, image, text can be regarded as an external form, inseparable from the internal ideal form.

Keywords:

Ilyenkov, ideal, mediality, mediated, activity, institutionalized environment, suspension.

Abstract.

Modern society in the context of social and economic changes faces a variety of open questions, one of which is humanization of the civic and societal life of the society. The process of humanization is traced through all the spheres of the societal functioning, especially in education. The education sector of the recent years tends to design a comfortable learning environment for all members of the society despite their ethnicity, race and gender, social status or health problems. The study showed that in 1920s – 40s, the Soviet Pedagogy developed mostly in the social pedagogical and cognitive directions, while the immigrant pedagogy followed the cultural anthropological path, which later on, gave way to the Christian anthropological, Orthodox pedagogical, and individual humanistic, and cognitive schools. Thus, we can state that despite global social and political disasters of the first half of the 20th century, all the basic schools of the national pedagogy developed continuously throughout 1920s – 40s.

THE ROLE OF SOCIAL MEDIA IN AN ADAPTIVE NETWORK EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT

Boyarinov Dmitry A.

Abstract.

The article discusses the role of the social media in an adaptive network educational environment. It also considers the modern domestic and foreign approaches to the definition of the “social media” concept and the description of their role in the educational process. There are some constructive conclusions made in the article that one should take into account while designing an adaptive network educational environment and which can be used as the basis for a model of usage of the social media in this educational environment. These conclusions are: the expediency of using specially created networks, the crucial importance of quick access to information (“one click” access); usage of the search by full-text query as the main search tool. The main components of a social network within the framework of an adaptive network educational environment are identified. These components are: “groups”, “blog” and “my page”. The factors that determine the effectiveness of these components as tools for organizing the work of students are analyzed in the article. The essential role of the means of motivation and providing feedback is noted. The creation of special groups is proposed as a form of such means. The minimum required set of elements in such groups is highlighted in the article. That set includes: title; main text field; a set of discussion forums; wall comments. A model of the use of the social media in an adaptive network educational environment contributing to the implementation of the property of intermodality is proposed. The fact that the individualization of the learning environment will give learners the opportunity for creative expression in learning activities is emphasized in the article. The fact that social networks naturally and effectively reflect the contours of the existing social relationships is noted. This fact is crucial in terms of giving a key feature (which is adaptability) to the designed educational environment.

Abstract.

The mission of the practiceoriented education is training of wellgrounded professionals in the light of modern requirements for quality of education as well as shaping both professional and personal traits in future graduates. The extremely valuable educational resources are electronic learning ones. The need for them is, first of all, put down to the poor interactive teachware, especially in in the segment of practice of all kinds. The Department of practical and project education of Belgorod State Agricultural University (Russian Federation) has designed some special computer programs that operate as electronic learning resources of the practiceoriented education. The programs under analysis conduce to a wide application of the project teaching method as well as the method of cooperation technology. The software designed tackles a problem of the students’self-control in the field of their theory learning and provides them with the information on the state of the agricultural sector of the region. MODELING AND DIAGNOSTICS OF EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT RISKS BASED ON MATHEMATICAL METHODS

Lyaluk Alexander V.

Abstract.

The article is devoted to the development of primary mathematical models and the diagnosis of risk factors of the educational environment. The functioning of the educational environment is a multifactor process, the results of which are multidimensional. Factors and results of the educational environment should be characterized by a certain numerical value, without which it is impossible to carry out risk management. It is substantiated that mathematical methods should be used in modeling and diagnosing the risks of the educational environment: methods of the theory of sets and relations, methods of linear algebra, and methods of the theory of limits. Various formulas for assessing the riskiness (danger) of participants in social and pedagogical interaction and the teaching staff are presented, which allow one to create a basis for identifying potential and real sources of risks in the educational environment, to predict ways to overcome them.

Simonova Margarita M.

Abstract.

The article considers multiple directions of using unifying communication in modern society, its importance in social life. The study of communication processes in modern education makes it possible to ensure the intensification of the learning process and to use the scientific potential of communicability in a specific learning situation. This makes possible a dialogue on the informatization of the education system, on the training of specialists for the intensive development of information technologies and who are capable of updating the modern education in the country. Education, being a variant and a means of communication, is called upon to introduce a learning personality into a vast, integral world of communication. Today, a more intensive understanding of the question of the worldview in education is required as a powerful communicator, connecting a system of various scientific researches in favor of education. At present, the direction of the socio-cultural approach to the organization of education is being strengthened. It involves communication synthesis, integration of socio-cultural and natural-scientific bases of education. Communication processes in society, conditionally separated from direct educational systems, but connecting the most diverse and strong streams of science, politics, ideology, and civil society institutions, objectively serve to better understanding the realities of the globalized world and the responsibility of everyone for the place of the country in it. The task of education, using all the modern achievements in the field of cybernetics and informatics, to enlighten the younger generation about the invisible currents of the slipping away of information meanings in the vast volumes of communication space, about the possibilities of manipulating communicative PR, advertising and sociopolitical field penetrated with communicative technologies.

THE IDEA OF GOD-LIKENESS IN THE PEDAGOGICAL THEORY AND PRACTICE OF ANCIENT RUSSIA (X–XIII CENTURIES)

Nalyotova Natalya Yu., Senchenkov Nikolay P.

Abstract.

Studying and judgment of education, upbringing, a pedagogical thought during this or that historical period is defined by an anthropological paradigm. We build this article upon the provision that the processes of education, upbringing, pedagogical systems or theories are based on certain views about the human-being, ideas of ideals of them and therefore can be understood only in a context of the human-being. Any people’s ideal of man corresponds to the national character, is defined by the public and cultural life of people, and evolves altogether with their development. In this article the authors set the  task of studying the specifics of a personality ideal of the Ancient Russia era (the 10–13th centuries), achievement of it by means of a religious thought, education, practice of education, insightful literature, mentoring. During the Old Russian period Russia connects tasks of educating the person with the initial development of the personality inwardness, their religiousness and moral behavior; that becomes the central anthropological idea of the domestic education, its civilization essence, sense, original sign and also the general prevailing tendency. This article makes a contribution to the theory of education, to history of a pedagogical thought of Russia. From the point of view of methodology the article submits the gnoseological analysis of processes of forming and developing the domestic education and upbringing to the pedagogical science in the context of the Orthodox anthropology. ENHANCING STUDENTS’ MOTIVATION WHILE TEACHING A FOREIGN LANGUAGE THROUGH SITUATIONAL AND THEMATIC ORGANIZATION OF EDUCATIONAL MATERIAL

Frolova Tatyana P.

Abstract.

The article deals with the features of organization of the process of teaching a foreign language in a Technical University aiming to enhance the motivation of students. The concepts «motive» and «motivation» in the general sense of the word are revealed, and the concept «educational motivation» is given, in particular. The author analyses the research of the matter described in the Russian methodical literature in the works of such scientists as A. Maslou, I. A. Zimnyaya, S. L. Rubinstein, L. I. Bozhovich, V. A. Kan-Kalik, E. P. Ilyin and others. The author emphasizes that forming stable motivation to foreign language learning is facilitated by the provision of zones of the nearest development in the educational process – creation of a system of  students’ skills and abilities. The purpose of this article is to consider the impact of situational and thematic organization of educational material in teaching a foreign language to enhance students’ motivation. The specificity of the organization of educational material is that the revealing of conversational topics is proposed to introduce on the basis of a list of typical situations of communication. Such organization of material for teaching oral speech is called situational-thematic organization (V. L. Skalkin and T. S. Duchenko). In this regard a system of exercises for teaching oral speech in a foreign language is proposed, the linguistic and methodological principles are taken into account. At the same time, special importance amid the introduction of new federal state education standards goes to the issues related to meta-object competences and functional literacy as well as value orientations characterizing personal results of education. The article provides the integrative correlational research of these important results and conditions conducted on the uniform bulk of data and having allowed to draw generalized conclusions. Three generalized factors have been singled out and described: “easy success”, “professionalism” and “self-fulfillment in a family” characterizing the structure of values and goals of today’s graduates, as well as two factors characterizing their tolerance and patriotism. Seven groups of indices potentially connected to the revealed factors, including social and demographic ones, characteristics of schools and teachers, and “mixed” groups (health, leisure and others), have been defined. Reliable correlations between all the considered variables have been singled out, their rank correlation and possible explanation of the obtained values of correlation relationships has been adduced. The both value orientations and functional literacy of school students are considerably affected by the “inter school environment”, namely characteristics of interactions between teachers and students. Abilities of teachers to engage students into their classes, to teach how to apply knowledge in practice, and general atmosphere at school stimulating self-education and communication between students, supporting their psychological health, are the most important factors. The indices under research are connected to the social-demographic status of students’ families to a lesser degree. The role of the family factors is more significant when forming the value orientations, than the functional literacy of school students.

Abstract.

Urgency of the subject of this article is conditioned by the Education Reform in England. Until recently, the Science has had the goal of creating fundamental scientific knowledge in students in individual subjects (in biology, chemistry, and physics). Today, however, it is aimed to create a holistic picture of the world, interconnection between the natural processes, animal and vegetal life. The changes that have taken place for the purposes of natural science education have led to changes in the content of the Science textbooks on Biology, Chemistry and Physics. If earlier the study of the science content had the subject differentiation, then today an attempt is made to integrate these disciplines in the content of textbooks. The purpose of this topic is to consider new directions in the study of Science, its content, criteria and methods, by means of the example of the “Combined Science: Synergy” textbook, which was included in the school curriculum in England in September 2016.

Abstract.

The matter of teaching the Chinese language as a second foreign language from the point of modern education standards is considered in this article. One can find here the information about the hypothesis of the possible implementation of the second foreign language as a special educational environment which is appropriate for a full development of a student’s personality, the development of the operational mindset, in particular. On the current level of the Chinese language development as a school subject such fundamental concepts as “sign”, “model”, “algorithm”, and “system” might be its subject areas to look at explicitly. According to the offered model of studying, each of the mentioned general scientific notions are used as basic to understand and train the learning material on the certain level of studying Chinese. It helps to shape not only understanding of the subject being, learnt as  a special system, but also active including of the scientific language, wildly used in other school subjects, into the learning process. In its turn, the operational mindset, rising in the process of studying a certain subject, does not exist only in this very process; soon it covers all the activities of a student. It can be noticed in his personal and meta-subject skills. Thereby students get a skill to observe all subjects and phenomena of the environment as a system in their development and relationship.

A children’s rage for games and primitive communication acts in the Internet environment significantly interfere with the correct, adequate idea of the potential of modern personal devices, the solution of educational, scientific and applied problems. One should note that the share of those, who have experienced the devastating impact of the advertising and gaming industry of the Internet, is increasing in the whole amount of students.  The present work offers the teachers the e-test that covers specifics of the mobile technology, the emotional state associated with it, and formats of the data to which learners are addressing on the Internet portals, as well as the communicative activity in the virtual society. In our opinion, the questionnaire for taking into account the components of cognitive activity of students is an effective tool for dialogue, in which students and teachers will find common themes, interests, useful information for teamwork, rules of a safe behavior in a multidimensional space of the network interactions.

J. A. KOMENSKY’S “PHYSICS”: A BLIND-SPOT IN THE MODERN COMENIOLOGY

Marchukova Svetlana M.

Abstract.

The article is devoted to the study of Komensky’s textbook “Physics” in the context of the philosophy of doubt and hope, developed in the works of V.-J. Dieterich and A. Lischewsky’s that defined one of the directions of the methodology of modern comenological research. Called to overcome the traditional perception of Komensky exclusively as a didactician, this methodology promotes the identification of trinity and multidimensionality – the basic principles of the idea of pansophy – in the content and structure of “Physics”. In the context of the metaphysical tradition of parallel reading of the textbook and the Holy Scripture, the author analyzes the development of the method that allows to build  on a common foundation the order of cognition of things in the material and spiritual world, to unite knowledge about God, nature and man into an integrated system. “Physics” is not considered in the traditional historical and scientific context, but in the historical and pedagogical aspect. The article uses the heuristic method of working with the historical and pedagogical source, based on the methodology of Komensky himself, according to which the “heuristic” level to pansophic wisdom is the “crown of knowledge”. Accordingly, the article outlines some areas of actual comeniological research in the context of the philosophy of doubt and hope.

Gavrikov Anatoly L., Pevsner Mikhail N., Petryakov Petr A.

Abstract.

The article is devoted to the problem of expanding the institutional  diversity of universities in various countries around the world in the era of globalization. The management of diversity is seen as an important strategy for the development of Russian universities. The authors disclose the various factors of globalization influence on the cultural and institutional diversity in the system of higher education: the influx of new intellectual forces (brain gain), the growth of the need for programs and modules in different languages, the strengthening of competition between universities, their struggle for the right to be the leading universities of the country. The authors note that decrease in the number of applicants due to the demographic situation helps transform Russian universities into multicultural pluralistic organizations that attract different target groups of students (persons with disabilities, ethnic minorities, international students, etc.). Institutional diversity is promoted by the formation of various groups of leading universities in Russia: universities with special status, federal, national research universities, etc. The article pays particular attention to a new group of leading universities – regional flagship universities whose main task is to promote the effective development of regions by creatingtheir own innovative and entrepreneurial ecosystems. Abstract.

The article presents the results of the study held in 74 regions of the Russian Federation, the purpose of which was to study the assessment of the heads of educational institutions and parents (legal representatives) of the degree of public participation in the activities of educational institutions. The sample consisted of 2,471 heads of the educational organization and 4,565 parents. It turned out that there are statistically significant differences in three main parameters - the frequency of appeals to parents by the educational organization on certain issues, the accounting of their opinions in the activities of the educational organization and satisfaction with the methods of education and upbringing in the educational organization. Parents assess the extent of their participation in the activities of educational institutions more critically than the heads of the schools and demonstrate the readiness to be involved. Heads of the schools consider the measure of parents’ participation sufficient, not trusting the level of their competence in the educational process.

THE PROBLEM OF UPDATING THE CONTENT OF HIGHER EDUCATION
IN THE ANTHROPOLOGICAL PERSPECTIVE

Leskova Inna A.

Abstract.

The article considers a number of factors that hinder the solution of the problem of updating the content of higher education. The main attention is paid to the consideration of this problem in its relationship with the humanitarian-anthropological dimension of education, which directly depends on the anthropological format of the person asked by the state. However, at the present moment this format is distinguished by value uncertainty, since the modern socio-cultural reality is determined by value different and at the same time coexisting anthropological models of man («manipulative man», «man of culture»). This is due to the uncertainty of the anthropological dimension of modern education, which is considered in the article as a factor hindering the solution of the problem of updating the content of higher education. It is shown that the actual and projected qualitative characteristics of the content of education are determined by the simultaneous action of two models  of educational relations – market-oriented and human-sized. The article gives a brief description of the model of subject-centered content of higher education, the construction of which requires the subject’s position of the student and cannot be adequately learned otherwise. This allows it to act as a factor in solving the problem of renewing the content of higher education, to promote the formation of a human dimension model of educational relations and the emergence of a higher school from the state of crisis.

Abstract.

The article presents a structural and content model of the pedagogical support of students’ volunteer activity in a university as part of the conceptual and purposeful, subjective and functional, substantive and procedural, instrumental and methodological, criterial and productive components. Development of students’ volunteer activity in the interests of the individual and society requires scientifically based pedagogical participation. The most suitable for each stage forms and methods of pedagogical support are systematized, including traditional and innovative forms of pedagogical process organization and modern trends in personnel management. Social project activity is determined as the main method of pedagogical support of volunteering. Criteria for the effectiveness of pedagogical support are based on two levels – personal (motivational, competence, regulatory) and group organizational (scale of volunteer activity, quality and intensity, methodological support of the volunteer activity, popularity of the voluntary activity), indicators are given for each criterion. The presented model captures the most significant aspects of the maintenance process, allows it to be reproduced in mass practice, and in this connection acts as an effective means of improving educational work in the university.

PSYCHOLOGICAL BARRIERS IN LEARNING AND PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY OF STUDENTS

Podymov Nikolay A., Zhang Li (People’s Republic of China), Ngo Thi Nga (Republic of Vietnam)

Abstract.

The article presents the materials revealing peculiarities of psychological barriers in educational and professional activity of foreign students. A psychological barrier is understood as an internal obstacle reflected  in the consciousness of a person, expressed in violation of semantic correspondence of consciousness and objective conditions and ways of activity. A specific feature of the manifestation of psychological barriers is the occurrence of “critical points” in the course of activity, in the force of action of which the positive or negative result for the subject’s future activities is determined. It is determined that the most common barriers are the barrier of communication and the cognitive barrier. The authors carried oud the quantitative and qualitative analysis of the data obtained during the diagnostics according to the following methods: Scale of self-assessment of develop behavior (D. La Costa); Method of diagnostics of style parameters of teaching (A. Salomon, R. Felder); Methods of selfassessment of metacognitive knowledge and metacognitive activity (Y. Poshehonova, M. M. Kashapov). We diagnosed psychological barriers of communication with the help of the “Diagnostics of communication Barriers” questionnaire that we specially developed. The study results reveal the need for organization of a special work to form the foreign students’ self-management skills (knowledge of their own methods and strategies of organizing and managing the process of cognition and solving theoretical and practical tasks).

INNER FORM OF THE WORD AND POETIC IMAGE IN ACMEISM: PHILOSOPHICAL ASPECT OF THE CORRELATION

Zanegina Anastasiya A.

Abstract.

The article is devoted to the issue of the correlation between the linguophilosophical phenomenon of the inner form of the word and the concept of the “eidolon-image”. Eidolon is the main component of the aesthetic system of Acmeism – one of the main literary and philosophical directions of the Silver Age. Linguists define the internal form of the word as “image of the image”. In this interpretation we see an obvious connection and similarity with the acmeistic image-eidolon as the creative impulse of the artistic text. Eidolon anticipates the formation of a specific artistic image in the same way as the inner form of a word (representation) anticipates the formation of a concept. According to Nikolai Gumilev, the founder and leader of Acmeism, following Alexander Potebnja, an outstanding linguist and philosopher, poetry is not only a language phenomenon, but also a special form of speech, a unique and creative way of thinking. A distinctive feature of this phenomenon is a thought transformation with the help of a certain image, “image of the image”, the inner form of the word, the analogue of which in Acmeism was eidolon.

DISCUSSION ON MODERN RUSSIAN THEOLOGICAL EDUCATION IN THE CONTEXT OF RELIGIOUS, ATHEISTIC AND SCIENTIFIC WORLDVIEWS

(as regards the historical-philosophical and generalpurpose aspects)

Gusev Dmitry A.

Abstract.

The topicality of the article is determined by the discussion on theological education in modern Russia, which has recently been expanding. It raises question of its possibility, worth, grounding, necessity and positive or negative influence on the Russian society. In the view of religious, secular-atheistic and postsecular worldview patterns that were subsequently changing in Russia’s political and spiritual history of the XX–XXI centuries main pros and cons of theological education being integrated into the present-day secular system appear quite interesting. The attempt of such comparative analysis of coordinates of religious, atheistic and scientific worldview aimed at finding their coincidences and discrepancies bears the theoretic and practical significance as well as the scientific novelty. The main conclusion of the authors is the statement, according to which science, in its essence and nature, is not either an ally of atheism or an opponent of religion, which is why secular education, associated primarily with the development of basic scientific ideas about the world, does not contradict neither religious nor atheistic worldview. Theological and secular education may well coexist peacefully at the current stage of the country’s life and even complement each other.

ON THE PREDICTIVE CAPABILITIES OF CYBERACTIVE USERS BETWEEN 18 AND 22 YEARS OLD

Tolstova Olga I.

Abstract.

This article examines the predictive abilities in the study of the perception of social phenomena by cyber-active users aged between 18 and 22 years old. Specific conditions of the virtual space that affect the productivity of forecasting social phenomena by students are described. The content of the concepts of “virtual reality” and “forecasting” is considered. Depending on the measure of use of Internet resources, subjects were divided into experimental and control samples. Cyberactive students with staying for 5 to 6 hours on the Internet with 7 to 10 years of experience were involved in the experimental sample. The control sample was made by less cyber-active students, who spend 2 to 4 hours daily on the web with the experience from 3 to 8 years. As a stimulus material, a picture was used that contained a complex plot that allowed us to determine the speed and accuracy of predicting social phenomena. As the result of this study, it was revealed that the rate of forecasting of social phenomena is lower in cyberactive users of 18 to 22 years in comparison with the less cyberactive respondents. There are dissimilarities between the experimental and control samples in terms of the accuracy of forecasting social phenomena. The effect of the duration and systemic nature of the subject’s stay in cyberspace on predictive ability was recorded.

FEATURES OF MODELING THE MULTICULTURAL ENVIRONMENT IN A UNIVERSITY IN A NATIONAL REGION

Pudov Aleksei G.

Abstact.

A Russian university on the periphery has become multicultural. A person with a conservative set of ethno-cultural values is not fully ready for a multidimensional dialogue with a previously unfamiliar culture. This generates mistrust between people, deforms the nature of the intercultural exchange. Dialogue, in the conditions of interaction of the conservative ideocratic forms of consciousness and dominant codes of the collective intentionality, becomes more complicated. In a multicultural society, the model of multicultural education needs developing an implementation strategy. The purpose of the paper is to identify the strategy of a multicultural university education in the conditions of the ethnocultural regionality, migration and mass culture dominance. Practical documents are proposed for the implementation of the model of a multicultural environment: a Program to form a multicultural environment in a university; a psychological affirmation to the multicultural education; a memo for students and faculties.

ONTOTHEOLOGICAL PROBLEM IN THE PHILOSOPHY OF ERIUGENA AND FICHTE

Tolstenko Andrey M., Kuznetsova Svetlana V.

Abstract.

The authors offer to include the thought of Johannes Scottus Eriugena’s (c. 810 – c. 877) in the broad context of the traditional metaphysical consideration and understand it as the unity of reflexive panentheism (God is in everything, but not everything is God) and Christian theism. The Irish monk’s ideas of were based on Neoplatonism, which prevailed in Byzantine meditative theology, subject to the tasks of the medieval paradigm of knowledge. In this regard, the «division of nature» of Eriugena’s appears to be ontotheology, on the basis of which he drew out the original religious and philosophical teaching. Essential features of scholasticism, finally established in the XII–XIII centuries, were inherent in his speculations. At the same time, there are speculative moments in it, anticipating and linking Eriugena with German classical philosophy, with Fichte’s idealism, in particular. Critical Fichte’s real idealism is a kind of transcendental ontotheology, based on the egological structures and problems of synthetic a priori judgments. Comparative, concrete historical, typological and textual analytic methods of research were applied to provide a scientific evaluation of the Eriugena’s and Fichte’s philosophical thought. It was found that ontotheology and Eriugena’s panentheism, as its constructive principle, and his teaching on the division of Nature, or God, are comparable with the concepts of Fichte’s egology and German idealism in whole, which preached salvation exclusively in consciousness and through consciousness.

RATIONALITY AND NON-CLASSICAL LOGIC

Yashin Boris L.

Abstract.

The article deals with the problem of understanding rationality at the present stage of the development of philosophy, science and education and its connection with the logic of thinking. It is noted that this connection is most often associated with the basic laws of traditional (classical) logic, with which scientific rationality is often identified. Different interpretations of rationality in foreign and domestic literature are compared. It is shown that the phenomenon of scientific rationality is not reducible to the logical only, but rationality itself is multifaceted. It is substantiated that the basis of rationality can be not only classical, but also non-classical logics, in particular, various variants of paraconsistent logic, as well as epistemic or temporal and relevant logic, logic with strict  implication, the logic of change. The essence of some of these nonclassical logics, their features, possibilities of use in natural and social sciences, education, in quantum mechanics, in probabilistic and inductive reasoning, in the theory of fuzzy concepts, in information retrieval systems are revealed. It is suggested that the search for an answer to the question of the relationship between paraconsistent logic and rational thinking can be productive for the ongoing development of the concept of modern understanding of rationality and philosophy of education.

Abstract.

The purpose of the research presented in the article is to determine the possibility of changing the success of solving problems of a convergent type by adolescents by varying the external motivational setting. By convergent problems we understand ones that have only one correct solvation. The study used two types of problems: aimed at the abstractlogical thinking and aimed at the spatial thinking. The article discusses the results of an empirical study of the success of solving convergent problems by adolescents in the context of three different motivational attitudes: neutral, competitive in the context of a personal victory and the victory of their group, held in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) in 2017 on the basis of the International Research School as part of the psychology project. PECULIARITY OF ERIUGENIAN PHILOSOPHICAL DOCTRINE

Tolstenko Andrey M., Kuznetsova Svetlana V.

Abstract.

This article considers the phenomenon of the philosophy of John Scottus Eriugena’s (c. 800 – c. 877). Comparative, concrete historical, typological, and systematic textual analytic methods of research were applied to understand and provide a scientific evaluation of the events and facts that triggered Eriugena’s philosophical choices in respect to the medieval thought. Ideas of the Irish monk were rooted in Neoplatonism, which prevailed in the Byzantine meditative theology, and in the language of Hermeneutics’, subordinated to the tasks of contemplating things in the context of the medieval paradigm of knowledge. It was found that the “idealism” of Eriugena’s as a constructive principle in his theological reasoning and in his teachings on the division of Nature, or God, is more relevant to Hegel and German idealistic tradition than to Berkeley’s immaterialism.

Volkova Svetlana V.

Abstract.

The article touches upon one of the main tendencies in contemporary philosophy of education, the so-called “corporeal turn”. The author argues that the phenomenon of education cannot be fully understood by focusing only on such factors as mind and intellectual activity as the main cognitive ability of a humanbeing as the mind and its activity are based on the bodily experience of human beings. Basing on the modern cognitive science the author proves the important part of gestures in the learning process. The article also views that referring to the phenomenon of a human body allows to clarify the conditions of the possibility of education as a sphere of intersubjectivity.

POLYCULTURAL ASPECT OF TEACHING FOREIGN LANGUAGES IN THE PRIMARY SCHOOL AND SELECTION OF ITS CONTENTS

Mandzhieva Svetlana I.

Abstact.

The polycutural situation that is formed in the Republics of the Russian Federation demands to organize primary school education about foreign languages in the context of polylogue of linguocultures and to update the content of training. Traditionally defined components of education in such conditions are not fully sufficient. It is necessary to highlight the multicultural aspect which being its integral part is at the same time marking the contents of each component. The main purpose of the contents of teaching foreign languages in the polylingual and multicultural conditions is that it should be sufficient to lay the foundations of communicative and intercultural competence of primary school students and to develop their ability and willingness to participate in the polylogue of cultures.  The multicultural aspect of the content of foreign languages education is considered as a set of skills developed for cultural observation, as well as culturological and linguocultural skills and experiences of the cultures of the target language country, Russia and the Republic, which is home to a primary school student, allowing him/her to build their verbal and nonverbal behavior with their foreign peers, and thus forming the status as the subject of the native cultures. The multicultural aspect includes three groups of skills and experiences. The first group (A) includes the skills of cultural observation and cross-cultural knowledge. The second Group (B) is constituted by proper cultural skills and experiences. In the third group (C) we deal with the linguoculturological skills to use names of countries, cities, holidays, and other specific words that form the Russian and world vocabulary, as well as linguoculturological experiences in the oral or written communication. The main purpose of the multicultural aspect is to introduce students to the culture of the target language country, to help them better understand the culture of their own country and their Republic, to develop their ability to see common and different in various cultures, as well as form the skills in written and oral communication to present their own culture by means of foreign language.

Abstract.

It is necessary to make the essence of the notion of the “didactic competence” specific and to substantiate the necessity to develop the indicators of this competence maturity. It is also necessary to work out a list of criteria that specify some aspects of achievement, levels or standards while assessing the maturity of the students’ didactic competence. This supposed assessment is backed with the defining of the students’ professional traits that are to be developed in the process of university education. Clear assessment criteria are to be known and understood by students and teachers in advance. Such criteria may become the background of the situational tasks work out based on the system-situational approach. However, it is not only the students’ knowledge that is to be assessed, but also their professional experience as a component of thedidactic competence. The system-situational approach complements the activity approach to the formation of the methodological competence of future teachers of foreign languages, developed by G.
